Fall Tour 2005
10/31/05
Hello out there! :D
Sorry it's been such a long time since we've gotten one of these updates
posted. We've been quite busy lately, but what's new?
Well, let me tell you!
After a summer of running around like crazy (Staffing Performing Arts
Camp, SST's, Mexico and Chicago outreaches, etc.) our team met back in
August to gear up for our Fall Tour.
We just hit the road two weeks ago, October 16 to be exact, and made the
25 hour drive, STRAIGHT THROUGH, to Chardon, OH. Our week there was great
and we were super-duper busy. We arrived Monday, set up our equipment and
prayed to get God's heart for the area on Tuesday, rehearsed and performed
"De l'Amour" on Wednesday... great night... mostly church kids there, but
got a lot of interest in missions (then tore down after... didn't get home
til around 2 a.m.), work project on Thursday (we cut and stacked wood for
a couple ladies who heat their house by a wood stove... can't afford to
pay gas this winter), led worship and teaching for a youth group in town
that night, and had most of Friday off (some spent the day in Cleveland...
ate at Mama Santa's Pizzeria in Little Italy... some of the best dang
pizza ever... and got in a car accident... silly really... no one was
hurt... but it was quite the ordeal... the lady hit a friends van, she's
from India and spoke very little english... it was clearly her fault, but
she wanted to call her husband to come out... anyway, it turned into a 2
1/2 hour ordeal... kinda frustrating, but what can you do?...)... then
Friday night we had an AMAZING worship and intercession time with a youth
group... actually there were a couple different youth groups that came
together for it, and nobody could remember the last time two youth groups
had done anything together like that in the area. The Lord really moved
that night as kids that "hardly said a word before" were hearing from God
and praying out with boldness. God spoke to us some promises for that
community that night, and those youth want to continue meeting and praying
together ATLEAST once a month from now on.
This past Tuesday we had a bible study at a church here and a great
ministry time. The fella's from our team took all the 15 or so guys that
were there from the church and had a "guy time"... hehe... that's where we
talk about "guy stuff"... you know, football, steak, rock n roll, women...
:) Well, we had a time of confessing to God the things that really hold
us back from intimacy with Him. It was a time of breakthrough and
revelation for quite a few guys there. A few were even in tears as we
were truly understanding God's UNCONDITIONAL love for them and how He
longs to be closer with them.
It's off to Pennsylvania next!
Thanks for your support! We love you!

Hey there, dear friends!
Things are just dandy here... actually I (Ryan Riggs) am quite hyped up on
caffine at the moment. Currently in Owensboro, KY... just arrived this
eve. Myself and a few other Crazies on our team volunteered to help a
local coffee shop re-paint the inside of their place. We didn't start
'til 11 or so, and 3 hours and a frappe mocha latte with 4 shots of
espresso later, here I am, wearing down my caffine rush by
hammerin away another update for the ones we love.
Now, where were we? Oh yes... Wooster, OH. Well, I must say we were
treated like royalty by our hosts there in Wooster. We ate so well...
Church of the Saviour really knows how to treat folks... and Mrs.
Chapman's caramel apple crisp pie... whoooey! Watch out! :D
We performed our production, "De l'Amour" at the church on Sunday and got
to pray with several high school and college-age young people commit their
lives to Jesus! There were also several others that we were able to pray
for and counsel through some emotional struggles, dealing with depression
and other issues. We left encouraged and energized!
From Wooster we headed east to Youngsville, PA. Beautiful area. Near
the peak of their leaves changing, and it was splendid. After a much
appreciated day off, we actually pulled off a "double-header" one day...
arose at 5:30 am to pick everyone up from host-homes, drive to a local
school, set up (takes 2 1/2 hrs), performed De l'Amour, had an amazing
time of praying with these kids... wow, so many issues young people deal
with these days... it's a sad thing, but so beautiful to see them discover
a bit of who they really are... when they begin to see themselves as Jesus
sees them, it's priceless. After the school we tore down (approx. 1 1/2
hrs), inhaled lunch, drove across town to a Methodist Church, set up and
performed that evening. The crowd was a bit uptight it seemed, though we
did get to encourage a few folks at the end and several wanted information
on how to get more involved in missions. Whew! Quite a day.
I can't complete our story about Youngsville without elaborating about
another performance we did that Sunday night. We performed that evening
at a different church in the area, about 200 or so came out for it. Many
were encouraged and prayed for, anywhere from 5-15 high schoolers plan on
coming down to Texas this summer for our missions program for teens
(SSTs), and Wes and I broke our black light at the front of the stage
during our "Fight Scene" at the end of the production. Glass was
everywhere. It was awesome.
Okey dokey... there's still a bit more to tell, but probably for another
update. Really quick though, without too much detail, we performed a few
days ago in Bloomsburg, PA and got to pray with 5 un-churched young people
to have a relationship with Jesus! There were several other rededications
to God, and the church really wants our team back soon. More to tell next
time!
We love you! Thanks for your prayers and encouragement! Can you believe
Thanksgiving... then Christmas... right around the corner!
Love,
Regen

After Youngsville, we spent a few days at a farm house in Ohio for a
little "get away". Some mid-tour refreshing always does well for the
weary traveler.
Next stop: Owensboro, Kentucky. We spoke at 4 different high schools and
middle schools, and have over 100 young people seriously interested in
coming to Tyler, TX for our summer camp next year. It was great... we
shared with the students how they were all created for a specific purpose,
and how God wants to use them right NOW, where they are, in their very
schools to shape history. We had a great response at most schools.
Well, our triple-header went well... no one died. :D Thursday night, the
17th, we performed at Apollo HS in Owensboro, KY. I (Ryan Riggs) got kicked in
the jaw during the fight scene and we got to pray for several folks. We
stayed with Scott's family (our tech-guy this tour) in KY. We all loved
Mrs. Thompson's chili and hospitality. She says "peeps" a lot instead of
saying "people". We all enjoyed that too... well, I know I did. :) That
night we tore down, got to bed at like 1 am, and hit the road at 7 am the
next day. We arrived in Sheridan, IN (just north of Indy) and promptly
set up for our performance that evening. Well, that night we felt the
Lord had something different in mind. We spent the night worshipping and
just ministering to one another (with an audience of about 30 or so). We
performed the next night at the same school. We had quite a few more
people that night. After tearing down again, we got to sleep in and head
out for Seymour, IN the following day. We were happy to not have to set
up that night.
In Seymour, we performed at a church that we've been to before. Great
people. Great food. Great rest rooms with great mirrors in them. Great
Christmas tree in the foyer. It was Great. We had an awesome time of
ministry that night. Great to hang out with the kids... many of whom get
picked up from the poorer area of town. The pastor said that because of
our being there, he's sure many of the "harder" kids will be a lot more
receptive to the Gospel. Part of the hardship in what we do is not being
around to see "immediate fruit" sometimes. It's encouraging to hear what
comes of the "seed" we've planted, and even to hear a pastor so enthused
and encouraged about what WILL be reaped after our being there. Many
thanks to our hosts in Owensboro, Sheridan and Seymour. We were truly
humbled by your hospitality and generosity. Blessings!
Well, thanks again for your many prayers. You've really helped in seeing
lives transformed! Heading to Lima, OH tomorrow... Happy Turkey Day! :D
Love,
Regen
Spring Tour 2005
The Lord has really impressed on our hearts to go to many of our nation's
Original Colonies. There has been a growing realization of the original
dreams of God for our nation. This tour we are bringing a message to
inspire the Church to recognize and LIVE from her God-given identity and
value; then to be a Church who offers this LIFE to others. We plan on
spending much time in strategic prayer and intercession for repentance,
reconciliation, and reformation in our land. We will be touring with a new
multi-media, theater production which articulates "LIFE" as Jesus promised when he said, "I've come that
they may have life and life to the full" (Jn. 10:10). It also articulates
the blatant assault on life and how the enemy seeks to destroy our value
and destiny as individuals, a nation, and a generation.
LET'S GET IT STARTED (Boston or bust)...
I write to you from our van on our way to our first stop, Boston, MA. We
left on Monday and stayed the night at a friends' house in Owensboro, KY.
God blessed us with a warm home, a cheery host, a hot dinner and some
beds, couches and floor space to sleep on. Praise God for His blessing of
provision and relationships. We left at 6 a.m., still en route to Boston,
but making another stop in D.C. to break up the trip. We just crossed the
border into Maryland. Our van is full of folks tapping on laptops (like
myself), talking on cell phones, playing cell phone games, and a couple
watching the a movie on a mini-DVD player. We're excited about the ministry to take place in Boston. We're going to
be working and praying at Harvard and praying in the community along the
Freedom Trail (a day's walk around Boston) and other historical hot spots.
Our team is anticipating so much on this tour, but we recognize that
victory doesn't come free. We truly need your prayers. I would ask you to
please pray for us as we begin this tour to many of our nation's most
influential and historical communities.
BOSTON (& CO.)...
Boston was awesome. We ministered in a church that meets at the harvard
campus. We also shared at the chapels of 3 christian schools. God opened
so many doors for us! One very key door opened just 2 nights before we
were scheduled to leave. A couple of fine folks met a drummer in town who
just so happened to also be an associate pastor (we'll refer to him as
"Eric with a C and not a K" for confidentiality) of a church in Concord,
MA (our nation's first inland settlement). What a crazy connection! The
two who went out to just hear some good jazz music ended up making a
connection that would lead to the next week's itinerary (definitely a
God-thing since things weren't exactly lining up for us in Rhode Island,
where we were scheduled to be in 2 days). The following day a few of us
connected with the drummer/associate pastor and the head pastor who set us
up with housing for the next 5 days. During our time there in the
Concord/Lexington area, we learned so much history about the area to be
able to strategically pray there. We were also able to pray with "Eric
with a C and not a K" and inspired him to seek the Lord about starting up
a 24/7 house of prayer there in the Concord/Lexington area. Note: This is
the same area where the "Shot Heard 'Round the World" was fired. So much
history here, especially with the Native Americans and early Colonists.
We discovered that there were originally 14 villages of the Massachusette
Indians who were some of John Elliott's first converts here in the States.
These 14 became known as the Praying Indians and still exist today.
There have been acts of reconciliation with these Natives, as there is an
overwhelming list of broken covenants with them and the early settlers.
We're so excited to see all God is birthing in this area and in the New
England area as a whole, an area in great need of
redemption, salvation and healing.
Next stop, New York City!
PRAYER
1) Physical and spiritual protection. The ministry we do is physically,
spiritually and emotionally draining. There is also a major factor of
spiritual warfare involved, and your prayers truly matter.
2) Unity on our team. We live together. We eat, sleep and ride in a
cramped van for endless hours together. We're family. And we all know how
hard it can be to stay a "family". Pray that we'd lift one another up and
keep short accounts against one another.
3) Itinerary holes. Fayetteville, NC and Savannah, GA are two places
where our itinerary has "fallen through". Pray that the Lord would open
doors there, or show us where to go if not to these locations.
2.4.05 We are looking forward to this coming Spring Tour! It's looking like we'll be touring the original 13 colonies! We're excited about it because we feel that the Lord wants to bring back the remembrance of what this nation was founded on, and to bring the Message to the churched and unchurched of America. We'll keep y'all updated on the places and times of ministry this Spring, in case you're able to come dig deeper into the Lord with us! Please in reading this be praying for us as a team. Pray that unity between us will be a great bond and that the Lord will pour out his Spirit upon us as men and women of God as we minister to people here on the ranch and all across the nation. Thank you for your time and prayers that are greatly appreciated and welcomed. Amen.

back in Texas to rework some of our programs and keep some direction from
God for the next year. We're taking a handful of SOE students on tour
with us this fall. Get to know them here. If you are interested

to know what's next for us. 4.7.03 This year has pretty
much been non-stop for our team. When we got back from our Christmas break,
we went full force into writing our new three night production which focuses
on the topics: The Father Heart Of God, The Broken Heart Of God, True
Christianity and True Revival. Our first opportunity to perform this
was on March 1st at YWAM Tyler's
annual youth event called
Take Action. This was an incredible opportunity for our team to minister
to the over 500 youth and youth leaders who attended. After watching the
production, which portrays how Jesus is continually pursuing us, one youth
commented that her perspective of Jesus was completely changed. We are
continually receiving testimonies like this of how God has used our performance
to minister into people's lives. At the beginning
of this year, we had an incredible opportunity drop in our lap. A Christian
School from Ohio called us saying that they were ready to put their normal
class schedule on hold for a week so that our team could come in and minister
to their students. So, from March 31 - April 5 we spent the entire
week with the 6th - 12th grades at the Christian Academy School
in Sidney, OH where we were able to teach on subjects ranging from Prayer
and Relationships to Church History and World Missions (and much, much
more!). The minsitry which took place was incredible! At the end of the
week, several students had given their lives to Jesus and many more had
gained new understanding of God's love for them and the plans He has for
their lives. It was truly amazing to see the visual change in the worship
times alone. At the beginning of the week, they hardly moved during the
worship times, but by the time Friday rolled around, we could hardly keep
them in their seats! We believe that God began something new in Sidney,
and we look forward to returning there in the future to continue with
the ministry and relationships that He has given to us! If you are interested
in having RegeN Productions come to your school, e-mail us at:
booking@regenproductions.com Check back here for
future updates. You can also check our schedule
to know what's next for us 1.29.03 We are back in Texas
for the next 3 months! We are finally moving into the place of seeing
our vision become reality. This Spring, from April 13 - May 21, we will
be having an extended outreach in Kansas City, Missouri. This will be
a time in which we will work with the local churches, chrisitan schools
and ministries to see the truths which we have learned imparted into the
lives of those in Kansas City. As a part of this, we are currently in
the process of writing a series of four multi-media productions having
to do with the topics: The Father Heart Of God, The Broken Heart Of
God, True Christianity and True Revival. We have been
full throttle since we got back from Christmas Break earlier this month.
After an encouraging time at the "One Thing Conference and The Call"
in Kansas City over New Years, we drove back down to Texas and almost
immediately began work on our 4 new productions which will be used in
our future ministry. 12.20.02 Well, it's that time
of year again! Re-geN Productions has all gone their seperate ways for
the Holidays. It's been an incredible year so far with all that we have
seen God do on our Fall Tour. We were able to minister in Colorado, Oregon,
California and New Mexico, sharing the Hope of Jesus with this Generation
as well as challenging the Body Of Christ to a new level in their walk
with God. After a youth service
that we held in California, one of our team members was hanging out by
our book table when a young man who had come to the service asked him,
"How can I become a Christian?". This generation is hungry for
some kind of hope, and they are looking earnestly for it. We thank God
that we are able to meet these young people where they are with a message
of God's redeeming love and hope! Well, we wish all
of you the best this Christmas! May the revelation of Jesus's love be
shown to you anew this year! Happy Holidays! 11.2.02 We got the chance
to spend a few days in the wonderful rocky mountains of Colorado and learn
what God really meant when He said, REST!!! From our resting moments we
moved on to Utah where we where blessed with pancakes and funny stories
from Logan's family. Next our adventure world winded us to our current
location of OREGON!!! (go ducks) We have been blessed with accommodations
at the United States Basketball Academy in Blue River. All is going well
and God is moving. Please pray for us. God is stretching all of us in
new areas of ministry and our lives. While we are still saddened at the
fact due to the call of God we have lost a member, Rayleen, we are trusting
God that all the universe is in control.(thanks Louie G.) Our two productions
are coming together quite nicely and we are faithfully trusting God that
everything's gonna be alright! Well until next reporting
session.. ding dong day and happy trails! |
